Jennifer Ryan Lazenby
Attorney at Law

Jennifer Ryan Lazenby has over 23 years of experience representing businesses, families and individuals in litigation matters. Jennifer is a problem solver, who works to effectively and economically accomplish her clients’ goals from planning stages and risk management to full-blown litigation. If Jennifer is not able to assist, she will suggest one or more referrals.
Prior to forming Lazenby Law LLC, Jennifer practiced with the same large, regional law firm in its Towson, Maryland office for more than 22 years – beginning as a Summer Associate in 1997 and leaving as a Partner in 2021. She formed her own law firm in 2021 to provide her clients with the same large firm skill, quality and experience but with the value and attention offered by solo practitioners and small firms.
Background
Jennifer Ryan Lazenby is a graduate of the Notre Dame Preparatory School. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Delaware in 1993 and she is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland. She graduated magna cum laude with her Juris Doctor in 1998 and immediately began practicing law as a litigator. Early on, Jennifer defended drivers and insurance companies in automobile tort claims and she handled dozens of district court and circuit court trials.
Her practice evolved into commercial real estate litigation, including landlord-tenant claims, quiet title actions and land use administrative hearings, lawsuits and appeals. That real estate work led to representing clients in estate and trust disputes. Jennifer is experienced in a wide range of litigation matters in the Orphans’ Courts, District Courts and Circuit Courts throughout the State of Maryland with Baltimore County as her home base.
